It’s good to try something new. Last August, when the incoming Board met to plan for this year, we decided to offer a program that focused on CSI. We wanted to raise awareness of CDT and other certifications, and to extend a welcome to emerging professionals. This was a big departure from our typical monthly program format, and it took a great deal of research and planning on the part of Les Meu and Vivian Volz. Les contacted colleges and universities in the Bay Area to invite their students to join us. Vivian found panelists and mentors, and saw to it that the event was well-publicized. The attendees represented a broad range of ages, skills, and backgrounds. They were fascinating to talk to, and we hope to see some of them again at future meetings and events. We’d like to learn from this debut event, and to try it again in the upcoming year.

Many thanks to our Program Planners
